Lilliana & Luna's November '09 Litter

15 Minutes Old

We've been waiting a long time for an angora litter. On Friday, November 20, Lilliana delivered 2 very cute, round babies - a white and a tort. Lilliana won 2 BIS and a B4C and Luna was BOS at the '09 Nationals show with both of them winning many BOB's. Let's see how these babies turn out. Unfortunately Linden did not produce a litter. I so want her to have a litter sired by Tinker Toy. Maybe a winter litter.

Two Days Old

A new picture at 11 days old. Their eyes should have opened yesterday so we wiped their eyes with warm, damp cotton balls today. If they are not open tomorrow, we will give them some more assistance.

Here they are at 18 days old. Right now it looks like a Tort Doe and REW Buck -- but you know how these things can change!

October Dwarf Hotot Litter

October 3, 2009
Dwarf Hotot --
GC Veronika's 7 Gun Salute (6 legs) x Tulamore's Archie (2 legs)

Two very cute babies!

Linden's January 15th Litter @ 8 weeks

I love this litter and it has been so very hard letting some of them go. Little Joe was the first to go and I'm very happy that he is doing very well with Dru Shepherd in New Jersey and winning on the show table. Jelly Roll has gone to live in Massachusetts, Horton is now in Pennsylvania and Thing Two has a home in Virginia.  I had so much fun with these guys, I miss them but I feel they have all gone to very good homes.

Tommy (Thing One) was Annie's pick of the litter and we will show him in the fall. Sam I Am is available (I have 4 white bucks!) but I will be proud to put him on the show table in the fall if he is still here.

New English Angora  Litter

6 new babies born Jan. 15th by Angus x Linden. Looks like 2 black, 2 white, an agouti and a fawn.

Nine days old - hopefully eyes will be open tomorrow!

Can you see why we named the baby in the lower left corner Jelly Roll?

Five Weeks Old (and still having problems loading pictures)

It looks like the boys rule again -- we have 5 bucks and 1 doe. Little chocolate agouti Jelly Roll is the doe. This litter was planned so I would have juniors to take to the Angora Nationals in New York in May. I'm really excited about this litter and can't wait to get them on the show table. Their planned debut will be at the Baltimore & Howard RCBA show on April 4th. A couple of these bucks will be available later in the spring.

The Boys

October '08 EA bucks

Leland is now living in Billings, Montana. Licorice will be going to New Jersey. Latte and Luna (we thought he was a doe when we gave him that name) are doing well and getting ready to make their debut at the PASRBA Convention in February.

February 9, 2009 -- Licorice, the black buck won all 3 of his colored junior bucks classes at the PASRBA Convention and has his first 2 legs at 3 1/2 months old. He has gone to his new home with Dru Shepherd in New Jersey. Luna, the white buck, was unfortunately the only white junior, but he received very good comments and we will probably keep him for the spring shows. Latte, the tort, also did well at PASRBA placing 2nd to his brother in all 3 shows. Latte has gone to his new home with youth exhibitor Ashley Shaw of Harrisburg, PA. I think I might be kicking myself (again!) for letting these boys go, but I wish them happy days and many legs with their new families. I've had a lot of fun with my boys.

October '08 Dwarf Hotots

These are pictures of Nimwe - the chocolate banded doe. We will post pictures of her black banded sisters soon.
