I have a very nice Quarter Horse gelding for sale. I am working on building this page and wanted to test adding a video. There are still some bugs to work out but refreshing the page helps to view the video.

We are closing the chapter on showing horses. Horses have been part of my life for more years than I choose to reveal and competition has always been a high priority. Life changes and I have found that we no longer have the time required to compete at the level we enjoy. Two years ago I purchased one of the nicest horses I have ever owned. Our timing was bad though and health issues (mine) kept us from showing as much as we would have liked. But, with absolute minimal training at home, Echo and I won 7 out of 8 classes (Western Pleasure, Horsemanship) we entered - the other was a second place. These were big classes and I had a blast riding him. He could hold his own in the halter classes too.
While Echo acts like a 2-year-old out in the field, when it's time to work, he's all business. He has a jog to die for and his responsiveness to legs and seat make him a great pattern horse. He can lope too -- probably a little rusty now but he has a very nice lope. He could easily be a youth horse and would be an awesome walk/jog horse. I never hesitate to put my kids up on him. There is not a mean bone in his body.
I've had Echo out on the trails and he seemed to enjoy himself, no spooking or jigging but it did take some convincing to cross water. He would just need more trail miles. But why reinvent the wheel? He loves to show and that is where he should be. I honestly feel like I am wasting a nice horse letting him stand in the field waiting for an occassional trail ride. He's been sound for as long as I've had him. He's a very easy keeper and I have found that feeding the low calorie Nutrena pellets give him more nutrition (better hoof health) and I can leave him barefoot (I do put on aluminum shoes for showing).
Here are a few pictures - try the video. It works for some people. I can try to send it via email too if you like. I am asking $8,000 for Echo.
