Tulamore Farm & Rabbitry

Quality English Angora and Dwarf Hotot Rabbits for Show, Wool and Pet

Formerly Other Bunnies - Under Construction

The Flemish Giants are like big candy bars. One lasts you a while but then you want more! While Nick will always be the Top Giant here, I think adding Jules and Shaun makes this a breed that we promote and deserving of their own page. The spring of 2010 could bring the first Flemish Giant litters to our farm. Friend Jennifer has a beautiful new Sandy doe that comes from the great guys at The Hoppitry in VA. It took a long time to find a sandy doe and this one is very, very nice. She has her eye on Nicky!

Nick is Annie's boy and it's funny to me to look at pictures of them when they were much younger. Their first show together, Annie could barely put Nick on the table even from behind. That was Wills Fair in 2007 and Nick won Best In Show. It's now nearly the end of 2009 and Nick has since won 2 or 3 B6C, many BOB, BOS and BOV and 12 legs. More important to that, he is just a sweet lug who looks forward to every visit from his people. Annie has had so much fun showing Nick and liked being the little girl carrying the big buck on his carpet around the showrooms. Nick is 8 weeks old in the picture.

GC Hoppy Trails Nicholas

Nicholas is by far the star of our rabbitry! Nicholas, Nick, Nikki, Sir Nicholas; he goes by many names but everyone knows who he is. Showpeople, friends, and neighbors all remember Nick when they think of us as having rabbits. He is a sweet, friendly buck with the kindest eyes you'll ever gaze into. He's romanced our dog into think he's her soul mate, as they lie side by side, exactly the same length when stretched out. He lives down at our barn with the not-always-pleasant company of the bantam chickens, a cat named Momo (his buddy), horses and pigs during the summer. Nick is everybody's favorite and we'll never let him leave.

Belasus Shaun, Light Gray Flemish Giant buck

We couldn't resist this guy! Shaun is a true clown and is developing into a very nice senior buck. He is massive - we really need to get him on a scale. New pictures coming soon.

Belasus Jules

Jules is a Light Gray Flemish doe from Amanda Belasus of MD. We're hoping Jules will carry on her mom's good name. Smudge won youth Best In Show at the '09 PaSRBA Convention. Unfortunately, Smudge died this fall from uterine cancer. Thank you Amanda for letting Jules come to us.

I was messing around with the camera settings so the colors in the second picture are wrong but I liked the way her body looked. The first picture is more representative of her color. Jules has 2 GC legs so far. We will plan a Spring 2010 litter.
